Great portable drive for laptops

First of all - a great advantage - no extra AC power needed - that is exactly what we understand as a super slim portable drive. An AC power supply is even not included in the box and it comes just with Y-USB cable. I have IBM X61s laptop, equipped with 3 x USB 2.0 and the NU drive works perfectly on it. They say it is compatible both to USB 1.1 and 2.0, I guess that is why they provided Y-USB cable - for more power on older machines. The NU is cheaper than similar drives provided by TARGUS. About the software compatibility - I can say it is plug and play, no problems. I burned few CDs and DVDs, everything was just fine. They were readable on other machines. It comes with NERO 8.0 - some OEM version, but works great. The finish of this product is pretty good and the design is sleek. I think that is enough - I love it.

I bought this DVD Burner for my ASUS Eee PC with Windows XP and it works great. It just plug and play as advertised. No need to load included driver. It's very slim and light and powers off from USB Y-cable which makes perfect for traveling. It comes with very simple instruction manual and Nero software. It burns and plays CDs and DVDs and the price is very cheap.
I also use the drive with my other computer, SONY VAIO occasionally, and it works great with it, too.

I've purchased a different DVD Burner, NU ESW846PRO, from NUI Digital. The product works great and I had a great experiencing purchasing from NUI Digital. So, I bought this one for my friend's birthday gift and she also loves it. She's not a computer savvy, but she said it's very easy to use, just plug and go. She also travels a lot and said the driver is so small and compact, it is easy to carry. Great buy!

The drive was easy to use just plug and go. It has worked perfectly so far. My friend bought a similiar model but paid thirty dollars more, great value.

I ordered this burner because I have a Dell Mini which has no room for a cd/dvd drive. This burner, which came with Nero, works really well and is so, so easy to use!

My previous netbook was an Acer Aspire, which by comparison was crap. I think the one I got was probably a fluke, but I had problems with it from day 1. Not so with ny Asus. This computer is very nice. It is fast booting up, it is fast in ordinary operations, and performs most functions flawlessly. The only thing I would change, and will, is the amount of memory. My personal belief is that there is no such thing as too much memory. At times, some functions would be faster with 2 gigs, instead of the 1 gig that comes with this computer. If the extra hundred dollars isn’t a problem, this is the machine to buy. For whatever reaon, this computer seems to be faster accessing and loading web pages, and downloading e-mail as well. That is a definite plus. I am spoiled, having been on cable internet for almost 10 years, This Asus computer is the perfect compliment to cable internet. Two other things that make this a superior computer are battery life, and the LED backlighting for the screen. The backlightin
